Happy Fall to all!
The weather has finally turned a bit cooler, and the leaves are turning Painted Lady colors (at least in New England), so it must mean that the holidays are coming soon! As we get closer to Thanksgiving, and the winter holidays, we also get closer to the production and distribution of the Painted Lady Tarot, so here is an update to let you know where we are!
As of yesterday (11/11/2023), both the Guidebook (a.k.a. the little white book) which will accompany all of the decks, and the Companion Book (the detailed book which is available at higher tier levels) have been completely written and are now entering editing work. The plan is to finish the editing and formatting within the next two weeks. I am pleased to say that the guidebook will be 56 pages long and the companion book will be over 190 pages long. There will be a lot of detail in the companion book and the guidebook for both new Tarot readers and experts alike.
The next stage will be printing and assembly, following by shipping. We are still on track to ship in January as originally outlined, and if anything changes I will be in touch! My plan is also to offer the Tarot class in January as we build towards the fulfilment date.

As two dreamers with a vision for a beautiful, artistic, and stunning Tarot deck, we (Ann and Daniel) are so honored to have your support behind our vision! We promise to bring you a product you will love! And we are so excited to begin our production process once this campaign finishes!
In the meantime, it's not too late!
As we approach the end of the campaign, it's not too late to add items to your pledge or to become a backer if you haven't yet.
Some items to consider:
- If you are new to the Tarot, or if you want to deepen your understanding of the Tarot (and its History and Mystery), consider adding the Tarot class for $20. This 4-week class will be recorded so you can return to explore it again and again.
- If you are looking for more details on how we've designed the deck, we are producing a companion book which will have details on the artwork that inspired the work, deep dives into each image, and Ann's inspiring story of the pathway to her art. The digital version is only $10, and the physical copy is $30.
- If you are looking for a beautiful altar cloth, or you want a fashionable zipper close bag for your deck, we have those too! At $20 each, these will be fantastic accompaniments to your deck.
- Since this is a work of art, we are offering a chance to literally put our art on your walls! An art quality print ($60) and an aluminum print ($150) are available for you, and you get to choose which image to feature from the deck.
And of course don't forget that we still have pledge tiers available which can bundle these items for you with a copy of the Tarot deck itself (including a special "LAST CHANCE" tier).
As we approach the finish line...
With your help, we will arrive at a strong finish, and get to our next stretch goal of $10,000. If we make it to this level, we can upgrade our box to a magnetic closure. While another $1,927 (at this point) may seem ambitious for the last 48 hours, that's only 32 additional backers of the deck itself (or 26 at the "LAST CHANCE" level). We have over 200 people watching our deck who have not yet pledged (and who will be receiving an email reminder shortly). With your help, we can make our deck even more memorable!
